Roger Bair, MSF, CFP®, CIMA®

Senior Wealth Advisor

Role at The Consulate:
My role at The Consulate involves serving clients, largely through helping them understand and gain comfortability with the financial world. I am keenly interested in helping clients smoothly integrate their financial and non-financial lives and navigate major life transitions. I focus on implementing strategies related to tax planning, estate planning, investment planning, and retirement planning.

Educational Background:
I am a graduate of McDaniel College and I hold a Master of Science in finance from Loyola University in Baltimore. I have earned the Certified Financial Planner™, Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst®, and Certified Investment Management Analyst® designations.

Favorite Financial Topic to Discuss with Clients:
When interacting with clients, one of my favorite topics to discuss is the alignment of the financial and non-financial aspects of their lives. I enjoy guiding these types of discussions because in the end, I feel as though it lightens the burden the client feels regarding their finances.

Why I Became a Financial Advisor:
I became a financial advisor because I wanted to help people achieve wellness, satisfaction, happiness, and balance in their lives through helping them understand the complexities of the financial world while also unburdening them of the complexities by being there to assist when needed.

Outside the Office:
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and being part of my children’s and grandchildren’s lives. We love getting together to grill and spend time outdoors.
